Dr. Sabrina Garcia-Hammaker is a native of Caracas, Venezuela. She attended the Universidad Central de Venezuela where she obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2011. Early in her dental training while working with patients with prosthodontics needs, she was convinced she wanted to transform people’s lives through their smiles.

Immediately after graduation she worked in private practice with a prosthodontist while teaching part time at her alma mater. In 2013, Dr. Garcia-Hammaker moved to Ann Arbor and joined the prosthodontic program at the University of Michigan. She graduated with a master’s degree in Prosthodontics in 2016 and maintained a full-time faculty appointment in the dental school.

Dr. Garcia-Hammaker is a Board-Certified Prosthodontist, member of the American College of Prosthodontists, the American Dental Education Association, and serves as a Reviewer for the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry and Journal of Dental Education.
