  Livonia partial dentures are dentures that replace only a few missing teeth.
"How do you wear a removable partial denture, Dr. Riedy and Dr. Girskis?"
  Removable Livonia partial dentures are attached to your natural teeth with metal clasps or devices called precision attachments.
"How long will it take to get used to wearing a partial denture?"
  Your Livonia partial dentures may feel awkward or bulky for the first few weeks, but your mouth will eventually get used to it.

Wearing Time

Initially, you may be inclined to wear your partial denture all the time. That's not a good idea. We'll give you specific instructions on how long your partial dentures should be worn and when they should be removed. Your mouth tissues need to rest, so it is advisable that you remove your partial denture for at least 4 hours in every 24 hour period.

Will Partial Dentures Affect My Speech?

Weaing a partial denture may actually help your speech! It can be difficult to be understood when you have teeth missing. Some adjustment time may be necessary.
